Gold Farming Strategy

Because Ancient Bark sells for 800 Gold Coins per unit and the sanctuary stumps respawn regularly, you can use this location as a mid-game gold farm. Clear the nodes, dodge the drones, and sell the stacks to any Wandering Merchant to fund ammo and medicine purchases.

// Step-by-Step Farming Walkthrough

Once you are fully geared up, follow these precise steps to gather your resources safely.

1

Cross the Ocean

Requires Flying or Swimming Mount

Set out from the southern coast of the Windswept Hills. Fly or swim directly south toward the massive concrete structure on the horizon. Watch your mount’s stamina bar carefully to ensure you do not drown in the open water.

2

Locate the Unique Tree Stumps

Look for the Glow

Search the interior grassy areas of the sanctuary island. You are specifically looking for large, pale tree stumps that emit a faint, distinct glow. They look weathered and do not look like normal harvestable trees.

3

Harvest the Nodes

Equip Your Axe

Approach the glowing stump and strike it with your tool. You can use standard weapons, but a high-tier Axe yields the most efficient results. Each stump will yield multiple units of Ancient Bark before breaking.

4

Evade the Island Security

Watch for Patrolling Drones

The island is a protected conservation zone. Automated defense drones patrol the corridors and open spaces. If a drone spots you, it will initiate an aggressive response, and these security bots possess massive pools of health. Use the terrain to break their line of sight.
