MWII continues to expand its multiplayer universe with the addition of new maps and gameplay enhancements. Offering new strategic landscapes and dynamic combat scenarios, these latest additions are set to elevate the player experience.
A Tour of New Territories
Kunstenaar District (Core 6v6)
Situated west of the Museum in the Vondel map, Kunstenaar District is an Arts District replete with a row of townhouses, boutique shops, a central plaza, and a swimmable canal along its western flank.
Showdown (Core 6v6)
An iconic map makes a triumphant return, providing a perfect training ground for practice or a battlefield to drop airstrikes and helicopter Killstreaks with Gold weapons, reminiscent of classic showdowns.
Mawizeh Marsh (Battle Map)
Dive into the Mawizeh Marshlands, a region of the Al Mazrah map which hosts the remnants of the once luxurious River Diamond Resort.
Ahkdar Village (Battle Map)
The heart of the action lies within Ahkdar Village, enclosed by a railroad to the south and the stepped farms and base of the mountain to the north. Expect frequent vehicular combat within the city walls, with infantry using battlements, rooftops, and alleyways to counter.
Mercado (Gunfight)
Set in a section of Las Almas, the Mercado is a large, covered structure that serves as the stage for frantic Gunfight and Face Off battles.
Penthouse (Gunfight)
Experience high-stakes Gunfights atop a Penthouse in the heart of Chicago. This modern space features a lap pool, an outdoor firepit, and an angular interior.
Smooth Gameplay, Fewer Glitches
Several bug fixes have been implemented in this update to ensure smooth gameplay. These include rectifying various collision and geometry issues on multiplayer maps and resolving an issue on Guijarro where the Overwatch Helo would fall from the sky.
A New Wave of Playlist Additions
Get ready for an amplified gaming experience with additions to the Quickplay playlist, including Battle Map (12v12) Search and Destroy and Battle Map (12v12) Prisoner Rescue. Also available now are 10v10, 3rd Person, Infected, Gun Game, Drop Zone, and Grind.
Tweaks and Fixes
Numerous adjustments and bug fixes have been applied for improved gameplay. This includes tuning spawns for Breenbergh Hotel, Black Gold, Exhibit, and Himmelmatt Expo, along with updates to the UAV sweeps in Giant Infected and the inclusion of Blueprints through Season 03 Reloaded. The bug fixes range from dealing with exploits with the Tactical Camera, out of bounds issues with the Recon Drone, connection timeout issues in Drop Zone, and many more.
