The wait for Planet Zoo 2 is almost over.

Frontier Developments is returning with a sequel to its popular zoo-management simulator, promising a much bigger and more detailed experience when Planet Zoo 2 launches on 13 October 2026.

The sequel keeps the creative building and management systems that made the original Planet Zoo so popular, while introducing some of the biggest additions the series has seen yet — including fully aquatic animals, flying birds, aquariums, aviaries and Wildlife Reserves.
