Warzone fans have a new playground to explore, courtesy of Beenox. Their latest creation is the Vondel map, a medium-sized, urban map brimming with 15 unique points of interest, a dynamic blend of architectural variety, and a unique canal system to navigate. Inspired by European settings, Vondel takes Warzone to a new level of intensity, immersion, and strategic gameplay.

European Inspiration, Global Impact

Vondel is an intricate canvas of urban streets, canals, and sprawling structures. The map, the first of its kind in Warzone, displays a meticulous design effort that features a Zoo, a Castle, a Floating District, multiple townhouses, and more. From the Graveyard to the University, every inch of this map is designed for seamless navigation and electrifying encounters.

Building upon Beenoxâ€™s experience from crafting fan-favorite maps like Rebirth Island, Vondel offers an engaging, fun-filled experience for players. The team has curated an environment that encourages learning, exploration, and constant adaptation, ensuring that there’s always something exciting to discover in Vondel.

Reinventing Resurgence and Introducing New Gameplay Elements

Season 04 in Warzone introduces an evolved Resurgence game mode, promising a richer gaming experience with each match. Alongside this, Beenox is unveiling new gameplay elements including the Dynamic Fog system, further elevating the player experience. With these enhancements and the launch of Vondel, Season 04 promises to be a thrilling chapter in Warzone’s history.

Points of Interest and New Adjustments

Players dropping into Vondel can look forward to exploring a variety of points of interest, including a Castle, Central Station, City Hall, Cruise Terminal, Exhibit, Fire Department, Floating District, Graveyard, Mall, Market, Museum, Police Station, Stadium, University, and a Zoo.

Key adjustments in Vondel include the introduction of the Tactical Amphibious Vehicle (TAV) and the Dynamic Fog System. The TAV offers mid-range armor and the ability to traverse both land and water, accommodating a driver, a passenger, and four players in the back. Meanwhile, the Dynamic Fog system introduces varying degrees of fog in matches, providing an added challenge for players.

Vondel: Resurgence and New Modes

In addition to these features, Vondel introduces a new public event – High Stakes. In this event, players must capture crates dropped from the sky to gain useful loot, including a Portable Buy Station, Armor and/or Munitions Box, and Cash. A successful capture grants players with Double Weapon & Player XP for the duration of the match.

Further enriching the Warzone experience, a new Field Upgrade has been introduced – the Reinforcement Flare, which redeploy an eliminated Squad member. A new Supply Box type, the Favorite Supply Box, allows players to arm themselves with their two favorite weapons.

Finally, a new game mode, Lockdown, has been added. Inspired by the Multiplayer mode Hardpoint, Lockdown will see teams capturing and holding zones around Vondel rather than being the last Squad standing. This mode enhances the objective-based gameplay and allows for custom loadouts right at the start of the match.
