Tired of waiting forever to smelt ores with a regular furnace? The blast furnace is your answer! It’s the perfect upgrade for players looking to speed up their crafting and take their gear production to the next level. ⛏️⚙️
Here’s how to craft one, what it’s used for, and a few tips to get the most out of it.
🧱 What Is a Blast Furnace?
It is a special utility block that smelts:

🧠 How to Use a Blast Furnace
- Right-click to open it
- Add fuel (coal, charcoal, lava bucket, etc.)
- Place smeltable ore or gear
- It will smelt twice as fast as a regular furnace!
⏩ Note: It gives less XP than a normal furnace, so don’t use it for cooking food or gaining levels.
🏡 Bonus Tip: Villager Job Site
Place a blast furnace near an unemployed villager and it can turn them into an Armorer, who will trade gear with you!

🎮 Final Thoughts
If you’re mining lots of iron or gold, the blast furnace is a must-have in your base. It’s fast, efficient, and essential for high-speed gear production.
💡 Pro tip: Place one next to a crafting table and chest for a compact smelting station!
