Looking to survive Vandorn Farm Zombies? You’ve come to the right place, mate. We’re breaking down everything from where to hole up to which guns will actually keep you breathing past round 10. Whether you’re a solo grinder or running with the squad, this guide’s got your back. And if you’re after more Black Ops 7 goodness, don’t forget to check out our Black Ops 7 Beta Patch Notes and other Zombies guides.

Getting Started: Your First Few Rounds
Right, so Vandorn Farm’s a bit tricky with all these open spaces and zombie entry points everywhere. First things first—get yourself to the barn. It’s honestly the best spot early on since you’ve got decent sight lines and fewer ways for zombies to swarm you. Don’t go opening every door you see in the first few rounds. Stick to knifing and landing headshots to rack up those points. Trust me, you’ll need them later.
Where to Set Up Your Defences

Here’s the thing about barricades—knowing which ones to actually bother with will save your life. The eastern barn entrance is your bread and butter. It creates a proper chokepoint where zombies funnel in nice and neat. Keep those boards up between rounds, yeah? As for the western fence, leave it a bit open on purpose. Sounds mental, but it gives zombies a second route so they don’t all pile on you at once. Controlled chaos is the name of the game.
What Guns to Grab (and When)
Round 3, grab that wall shotgun. It’s perfect for close-quarters zombie blasting in the barn. Come Round 7, you should have enough points banked to hit the Mystery Box near the farmhouse. Cross your fingers for a Ray Gun or Thunder Gun, but pair whatever beast you get with a solid automatic for when things get hairy. You’ll want one big damage dealer and one reliable spray-and-pray option.
Power-Up Management
Max Ammo is your best mate. Don’t waste your good weapons on rounds where Max Ammo probably won’t drop—that’s usually rounds ending in 1 or 6. Got an Insta-Kill? Brilliant—switch to your knife and rack up those sweet points. As for Nukes, save those bad boys for when you’re properly cornered or need to get a teammate back on their feet.
High Round Tactics (Round 15+)
Once you hit Round 15, things get properly mental. Time to start training zombies in the open field. Run in circles to group them up into a nice train, then unleash hell with your explosives or Wonder Weapons. Whatever you do, always have an exit route planned. Getting trapped against that silo is a quick way to end your run.
Which Perks to Buy First
- Juggernog – Grab this first, no questions asked. You need the extra health.
- Speed Cola – Makes reloading lightning fast when zombies are breathing down your neck.
- Quick Revive – Absolute must for solo players. Gives you a second chance when you mess up.
- Double Tap – More damage output for melting those higher-round zombies.
Don’t Make These Rookie Mistakes
Loads of players get excited and open every door they see. Don’t be that person. You’ll have zombies coming from everywhere and you’ll get overwhelmed fast. Hold your position, stack your points, then expand. Also, that farmhouse loft looks tempting, but after Round 10 it’s a death trap—there’s basically no way out once you’re up there.
Playing with a Squad
If you’re running multiplayer, sort out roles before things kick off. One person on barricades, one farming points, and the rest handling the zombie killing. Don’t all hit the Mystery Box at once—it’s a waste of time and leaves you vulnerable. Call out power-ups when you see them and keep eyes on each other. Communication is absolutely key to not getting your team wiped.
Managing Your Points
Points are everything. Early rounds, go for headshots—that’s 50 points per zombie instead of 10. Don’t spam grenades like they’re free; save them for when you really need them. Pack-a-Punch opens at Round 8, but hold your horses. Upgrade too early and you’ll burn through ammo with no Max Ammo in sight. Patience pays off.
Final Thoughts
Vandorn Farm Zombies isn’t easy, but with a bit of patience and these strategies under your belt, you’ll be smashing high rounds in no time. Stick to your plan, work with your team, and don’t panic when things get hectic. Keep an eye on our Call of Duty section for more zombie tips and fresh BO7 updates.
