- With the launch, the Phantom Edition includes a Pro Token which gives access to the Season 1 Battle Pass plus 25 tier skips, along with exclusive cosmetics, XP tokens, and more.
- Season 1 content is set to begin on 28 October with “Rogue Ops,” introducing a new map called Blackwell Fields, plus a new 4v4 mode.
- Future phases of Season 1 will follow, with “California Resistance” arriving 18 November and “Winter Offensive” on 9 December, bringing new maps and seasonal updates.
- EA / DICE confirm that gameplay-impacting features (new maps, weapons, modes) will be free or earnable by all players, not locked behind the Battle Pass.
So the Battle Pass is mostly about cosmetics, progression, and bonuses, not core content denial.
Expected Rewards & Cosmetic Highlights
While the detailed tier list hasn’t been fully published, we can extrapolate from what the Phantom Edition offers and what EA has teased:
Things Already Confirmed in the Phantom / Pro Token Bundle
- Four exclusive “Phantom Squad” soldier skins (Crossbones, Mirage, Specter, Wraith)
- Weapon packages, a vehicle skin, melee skin, stickers, charms, dog tags among the cosmetic extras included with Phantom.
- XP boosts (e.g. 60 minutes Career XP, hardware XP, etc.) tied into the premium content.
These provide a solid starting pool of cosmetics to expect from Season 1.
What We Can Reasonably Expect
- More soldier / operator skins, weapon camos / packages, vehicle skins, charms, stickers, dog tags, player card backgrounds, patches etc.
- Tiered cosmetic unlocks: as you move up battle pass tiers, increasingly premium cosmetics.
- Likely some theme ties to the seasonal content (e.g. a “Rogue Ops” skin, or maps introducing visual motifs that mirror cosmetics).
- Occasional limited-time or event-linked cosmetics (e.g. Twitch Drops, live events) interwoven around the Battle Pass content. (As an example, during launch week there are Twitch Drops like Versatile soldier skin, weapon skins, vehicle skin, etc.)
How to Get the Most Value from Season 1
Here are some strategies to squeeze maximum return from your Battle Pass investment:
1. Use Your 25 Tier Skips Wisely
Since Phantom gives you 25 free skips, use them on tiers with the most valuable or rare cosmetics (e.g. skins, vehicle camos) rather than applying them to “filler” tiers that offer minor items like patches or icons.
2. Stay On Top of Weekly / Seasonal Missions
Battle Pass systems typically include “weekly challenges” or seasonal objectives — completing them often grants XP boosts or helps you level faster. Make sure to log in and complete those.
3. Focus on Modes / Maps with High XP Yield
Play the modes and maps that offer more XP per match — matches with objective play, winning streaks, or modes with bonus multipliers will accelerate your pass progress.
4. Track Patch / Content Drops
With new phases of season content arriving later (e.g. 18 Nov, 9 Dec), cosmetics tied to those phases may only unlock once the content is live. Keep an eye on patch notes and unlock windows.
5. Don’t Rush (Unless You Want To)
You don’t need to exhaustively grind it day one. Season Passes often run for weeks to months. You can pace yourself and pick the tiers you really care about, rather than burning out early.
Risks & Unknowns to Watch
- We still don’t have a full confirmed list of all cosmetics in Season 1.
- It’s unclear whether non-Phantom players will be able to purchase a standalone premium pass in future seasons or if some cosmetics will be permanently exclusive.
- Cosmetic design direction is said to be more grounded (less flashy), so expect more realistic military aesthetics over over-the-top skins.
- Timing: if you fall behind early, catching up may demand heavy play sessions or use of additional boosts / items.
