Even before his boxing grudge match with entertainer Logan Paul, BJJ fighter Dillon Danis has been eyeing up a move to the UFC. Mixed Martial Artist Danis parted ways with Bellator earlier this month (October 2023), though he had been looking to move to UFC even before that. Dana White was questioned on Danis’ hopes to move to the UFC, to which UFC star Dana White responded “I don’t know, I haven’t even actually thought about that.”
Will Danis join the UFC?
Danis has made it very clear that he wishes to join the ranks of the UFC, but after White stated that he’s not thought about the idea, it’s unclear whether the move may be feasible for the BJJ artist, Danis who lost his boxing bout to Logan Paul to disqualification after attempting to take down Paul in the sixth and final round of their match.
Danis’ popularity may spark a move to the UFC
Danis has lately exploded in fame after his fixture with Logan Paul, putting on one of the best marketing shows that the sport has seen in a very long time. Danis isn’t afraid to muddy the waters, as evidenced by his social media campaign again Logan Pauls’ wife, Nina Agdal. His adamant campaign on social media sparked up a lot of impressions, and more importantly, sales for the boxing fixture.
Dana White may see a smart business move in the shape of Danis joining the UFC if his fireworks are continued into the Octagon, it would be a giant win for the UFC, following on from Danis’ explosive growth in fame in recent times.
What happened between Danis’ and Logan Pauls’ wife?
Recently, mixed martial artist Dillon Danis has shared several private photos and videos of model Nina Agdal without her consent. These leaks come amid Agdal’s engagement to YouTuber Logan Paul. While Danis likely intended to damage Agdal’s reputation, his actions raise serious ethical concerns about privacy and consent. Responsible reporting should avoid perpetuating harm against Agdal and reinforce that Danis, not Agdal, bears responsibility for the unauthorized distribution of private media.
Nina Agdal has since taken out a restraining order against the UFC-dreaming Dillon Danis.
