The highly anticipated charity football match between the YouTube All-Stars and Sidemen FC took place on September 9, 2023, bringing together some of the biggest internet personalities for a good cause. However, there was no love lost between rivals KSI and IShowSpeed. Their feud added an extra layer of intensity to the match.
Just minutes into the game, Speed cleaned out KSI with a hard tackle, no doubt still bitter about KSI’s infamous slide tackle from last year’s match. But KSI would get his revenge just moments later.
Penalty Stopped Cold by KSI Mind Games
With the YouTube All-Stars trailing early, ChrisMD won them a penalty. Speed stepped up eagerly to take it, seeking to pile further embarrassment on his arch-nemesis KSI who was in goal.
However, KSI’s mind games worked perfectly. As Speed ran up, KSI danced on the line and put him off just enough to save the poorly struck spot kick. KSI then celebrated with Speed’s signature “Siiiiuuu” celebration, pouring salt in the wound.
Near Misses for Speed After Early Setback
Thankfully for Speed, his team quickly equalized through Max Fosh. And Speed nearly made amends minutes later with a golden chance, but Sidemen’s Calfreezy blocked his shot on the open goal line.
KSI gloated after the save, saying “As long as Speed doesn’t score, I’m happy.” But he soon got a taste of his own medicine…
KSI’s Karma: Hilarious Own Goal
After stuffing Speed’s penalty, KSI was soon left embarrassed himself. He rolled back into his own goal comically while trying to collect a tame shot. It was karma for his earlier cockiness.
In the end, the charity match was a fun event for a good cause, with the drama between KSI and Speed adding some extra spice. Their rivalry seems far from settled, so we can likely expect more fireworks in their next encounter!
