Deciding where to land in Vondel is an exciting prospect, a new map with new POIs, easter eggs, and a wealth of hidden blueprint guns, it can be hard to choose where to land, but don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

The Vondel Stadium

Possibly our favourite place to land, It is brimming with a wealth of loot, numerous supply boxes, and countless goodies scattered across the floor, ensuring you’ll secure a weapon almost immediately. The location is popular among many squads, so you must strategize wisely from the outset, procure your loot swiftly, and then transition to hunting mode.

Did you know that you can make the fans cheer for you? It’s a cool little easter egg, where walking up to the audio desk and holding X will cause the fans to erupt into applause.

Being a fairly South-facing location, Landing at the Stadium is a solid decision in most circles, giving you the opportunity to pivot towards Zoo or the Museum. Just be careful of the campers on top of the North facing houses.

Landing at the Vondel Stadium places you just behind the “Door Stuck” building, so you can quickly find your way into the secret room.

Landing at Zoo

Zoo, most probably the most hectic of places we’ve experienced so far is a great choice to rack up some early elims and show off your fast movement. Thanks to the snaking corridors and parkour in the circular building, it’s becomes super easy to flank, or lose chasing enemies.

You’ll generally see enemies need to push towards you from Floating District during Zone 1 close, so you can pick off some zone chasers.

Zoo is also the location of the regional Loadout drops, so if you hang around, you’ll very quickly fetch yourself a free loady. Should you rather buy a loadout, there’s typically a buy station in the center. Should you land at Vondel Zoo? If you like quick kills and easy loadouts… absolutely.

Landing at Market in Vondel

Market is central Vondel, and prime real estate to pick off early contracts, securing the bag to get that OP Loadout early game.

Pick up the nearest Intel contract, as there is a drop-off point atop the church in the middle of the Vondel Market, which will feed you fast XP, the next zone and easy cash.

Summary

Wherever you land in Vondel, you should pick up your first contract, and get to work to find your loadout, as soon as possible. Now that ground loot guns are all fairly powerful, you’ll need to meta loadout to stay ahead of the game.
