Players have had their hands on the new Warzone Resurgence map, Vondel for a little under a day now, and it’s safe to say the opinions on the map are… mixed.

While Beenox, the creator of Rebirth Island have made a concerted effort to improve the gameplay and flow of gunfights in Season 4’s new map, some people aren’t happy – though some are loving it. Here’s what people are saying.

In the replies, one player mentions a new mechanic, unknown to be a feature or bug, where once you jump from the plane, you nose-dive straight down. Forcing players to immediately open their ‘shute to regain momentum:

i was so excited for this season and updates. the map is horrible. like the worst ever. what is the deal with the parachutes and falling straight down? for a map that’s all vertical you can’t even jump to zone. i honestly didn’t think things could get worse.
