Hey, Elite Gamers! Treyarch’s just dropped a juicy update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and we’re here to dish out the deets. Let’s dive into what’s new in this Season 01 patch!
Battle Pass and Store Fixes
First up, they’ve squashed some pesky bugs in the Battle Pass system. Steam players can breathe easy – that BlackCell content you paid for? It’s finally showing up. They’ve also fixed that annoying glitch where you’d get stuck staring at the Battle Pass screen like a deer in headlights.Oh, and if you’re a keyboard warrior, you’ll be happy to know the Store’s filter prompts won’t be showing controller buttons anymore when you’re browsing.
PS5 Pro Gets Some Love
For all you lucky PS5 Pro owners out there, Black Ops 6 is now optimized to make your games look sexier than ever:
- Better visuals at 4K/60Hz
- Fancier shadows, reflections, and lighting in Quality Mode
- 120Hz mode that looks just as good as the regular PS5 at 60 FPS
- A new variable refresh rate mode coming soon that’ll push your fancy displays to the limit
Multiplayer Tweaks
Treyarch’s been busy in the Multiplayer department too. They’ve plugged up some map holes in Hideout and Payback where sneaky players were getting out of bounds. And guess what? Nuketown 24/7 is back, baby! It’s replaced Radioactive 24/7 in the playlists.Good news for loadout junkies – you’ve now got 12 slots to play with across all platforms. They’ve also fixed up some issues with the Ghost Perk and Strategist Combat Specialty.
Zombies Mode Upgrades
Zombie slayers, listen up! They’ve closed that Treasure Hunt exploit on Terminus that was making you filthy rich with essence. There’s also a new Directed Mode for private matches if you’re feeling antisocial Oh, and they fixed that weird bug where Dead Wire was turning zombies into impromptu fireworks displays when you had Dragon’s Breath equipped.
Stability and UI Touchups
Treyarch’s thrown in a bunch of stability fixes to keep things running smooth. They’ve also tidied up the UI, fixing that annoying bug where your owned Equipment skins were playing hard to get and showing up as locked. That’s the lowdown on Black Ops 6’s Season 01 patch, folks.
