In the release of Fortnite OG (November 3rd) we have see the return of the OG weapons, throwables and more, but most importantly, the return of the original Fortnite map from 2018, and people are excited to get playing the original map. The Fortnite OG update also introduces Hand Grenades and other vaulted weapons like the Rocket Launcher.
All the way back in 2018 when the map was first released, players loved the original map that featured some unforgettable POIs such as Pleasant Park, Loot Lake, and most importantly, Tilted Towers. Fortnite OG Tilted Towers is just how we remember it, a sprawling battlefield filled with loot and challengers.
Fortnite OG Map POIs are back with the new (old) map
All of the POIs that we remember from the original map are back, and man are we excited to get involved with them one more time:
- Pleasant Park
- Tomato Temple
- Haunted Hills
- Lonely Lodge
- Loot Lake
- Wailing Woods
- Dusty Divot
- Snobby Shores
- Greasy Grove
- Junk Junction
- Retail Row
- Lazy Links
- Salty Springs
- Risky Reels
- Tilted Towers
- Shifty Shafts
- Frosty Flights
- Flush Factory
- Paradise Palms
- Fatal Fields
- Lucky Landing
Originally, it was rumoured that Epic Games removed Tilted Towers to reduce the skill-gap and make the game more inviting to new players of Fortnite, but now that the POI is back, does that mean the games will become more competitive? We’d like to think so! The city of Tilted Towers was destroyed by a volcano in 2019, Fortnite OG V27.0.0 is the first time we have seen the area in over 3 years – crazy, right?
