Rockstar Drops GTA VI Trailer Date, 10 Years After GTA V.

A decade after the release of Grand Theft Auto V, Rockstar Games has finally announced details on the highly anticipated next instalment in the series, Grand Theft Auto VI.
Surprise Trailer Date Reveal
In a surprise announcement today at 2PM ET, Rockstar revealed that the first trailer for GTA VI will drop on December 5 at 9AM CT.
Back to Vice City
GTA VI is set in the series’ iconic Vice City map, bringing players back to the neon-lit, Miami-inspired city first featured in 2002’s Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Rumors have swirled for years about a return to Vice City, Rockstar’s twisted take on South Florida in the 80s.
First Look at Gameplay and Characters
The trailer will give fans their first real look at gameplay and characters for GTA VI. Unconfirmed reports have suggested the new game will feature two playable protagonists, building off the three-character format of GTA V.
Legacy of GTA V
Grand Theft Auto V has sold over 170 million copies worldwide across two console generations, making it one of the highest-selling videogames ever. However, fans have clamoured for a new entry in the acclaimed series for nearly a decade after 2013’s GTA V originally debuted.
