The early release of Call of Duty MWIII Campaign came out on November 2nd. Those who pre-ordered Call of Duty MWIII were lucky to be given early access to the campaign of the game.
However, due to the extremely fast turn-around time of MWIII, it would appear that something had to give, and in this case, it is the campaign aspect of the game. Players have reported that the campaign of MWIII is only 3-4 hours long, compared to the typical length that spans 6-8 hours in previous entries to the Call of Duty title.
For reference, the campaign in Call of Duty MWII (2022) contained 17 story missions and spanned 8 hours, so the comparison to MWIII (2023) being a meager 4 hours long is quite the disappointment to fans of the solo-player aspect of Call of Duty.
The MWIII Campaign, titled “Operation 627” is a direct continuation of MWII, which sees you chasing Vladimir Makarov, the main protagonist of the story, who was first seen in Call of Duty 4.
While the length of the campaign leaves something to be desired, fans have exploded with excitement over a feature where you can pet Riley, a dog who features in the campaign of the game. People have rumoured that Riley is the same dog as that from Call of Duty Ghosts, but that isn’t confirmed.

Generally speaking, the review of the MWIII campaign is a mixed bag, some people love the open-field missions which see you fighting through an open map, but some have compared to the a “single-player DMZ”, slating it as boring.
