MWIII Introduced Tactical ADS, with a label on the bottom of the screen which does not go away, Here’s how to Hide Tactical ADS IN MWIII. Unfortunately the Tactical ADS label sits right in the middle of the bottom half of the screen. It’s obvious the developers have added this make players aware of the new feature, but sitting at the bottom of the screen all game long, really, Infinity Ward?
How to turn off Tactical ADS in MWIII
Thankfully, it’s easy to disable tactical ADS. To turn off Tactical ADS, follow these steps:
- From the main menu press Pause and scroll to settings, tap Controller
- Use the Right Bumper to scroll to GAMEPLAY
- Half way down the list, you’ll see TACTICAL ADS ACTIVATION, change this option to OFF
Now, Tactical ADS will be disabled and the label will be gone.
Can I remove the label but keep tactical ADS?
No, unfortunately, you cannot disable the label without disabling tactical sprint. While this is a guess, we assume that the label will be removed after the beta, or once Season 1 begins.
It’s clear that the label is there to initiate players to the new feature, to make sure that no one forgets that the feature is now a part of the game.
What is Tactical ADS MWIII?
MWIII Tactical ADS is a new aiming stance which quickly angles your gun like the Canted lasers in MWII. Tactical spring is enabled if you aim while sliding, which disables once you finish sliding. The quick transfer between Tac ADS and normal ADS is quite jarring, and can easily disrupt your aim – so we suggest turning it off if you can.
