How to Use Beacons and Conduits in Minecraft PE?
Beacons and Conduits are two special blocks in Minecraft PE that provide player buffs when set up correctly. A Beacon is a block that projects a light beam skyward and provides status effects such as Speed, Jump Boost, Haste, Regeneration, Resistance, or Strength to nearby players. A Conduit, on the other hand, is an underwater variant that provides the Conduit Power effect, allowing players to have improved vision, water breathing, and mining speed underwater.
To use a Beacon, you first need to craft it using three obsidian blocks, five glass blocks, and one Nether Star, which you obtain by defeating the Wither. Once crafted, the Beacon needs to be placed on a pyramid of blocks made from iron, gold, diamond, emerald, or netherite. The size of the pyramid determines the available effects and their range. After the Beacon is placed on the pyramid, right-click on it, choose the desired effect, and feed it an ingot or a gem to activate it.
For Conduits, you’ll need to obtain a Heart of the Sea, which can be found in treasure chests, and eight Nautilus Shells, which can be fished or dropped by Drowned. Once crafted, the Conduit needs to be placed underwater and activated by surrounding it with a frame of at least 16 Prismarine-related blocks. The frame can be built in several shapes, but it must be cylindrical around the Conduit.
Both Beacons and Conduits provide useful buffs that can aid in your Minecraft adventures. Beacons can greatly enhance your abilities when working around your base, while Conduits are essential for any underwater construction projects. With the right preparation and setup, these special blocks can prove to be invaluable tools in Minecraft PE. Happy crafting!
