• Oil Silos: These three giants offer Barrels and guarded platforms accessible via staircases.

How to Climb Dome: A Challenging Ascend

1. Start Opposite the Silos: Locate the large ground pipe and ascend.
2. Three Layers Await: Each requires exiting the tank and traversing the exterior.
3. First Layer: A central catwalk with forks and a downward ramp offers Barrels and a shortcut (risky!).
4. Second Layer: Similar to the first, featuring the toughest jump: a sprint onto a small beam.
5. Third Layer: The summit, rewarding you with the best loot haul.

Descent: Options for Every Daredevil

1. Retrace Your Steps: The safest, but time-consuming, way down.

Rust Dome Loot Crates

The area under the Dome is a great place to find Barrels, which are a common type of loot container that can contain a variety of items.

If you’re willing to make some extra jumps, you can climb up and inside the main tank to find up to 6 Basic Crates. These crates contain higher-quality loot than Barrels, but they can be more difficult to get to.

If you’re not up for the challenge, you can still find up to 2 crates per circular area on the internal catwalks. These catwalks are located around the outside of the tank and are relatively easy to access. Finally, the top of the Dome is the best place to find loot in the entire area.

Here, you can find 3 Military Crates, which contain the highest-quality loot in the monument besides the Elite Crate. However, the top of the Dome is also the most dangerous place to be, as it is exposed to gunfire from all sides.

Here are some additional tips for looting the Rust Dome:

• Be aware of your surroundings and watch out for other players.
• Bring radiation protection, as the top of the Dome is radioactive.
• Be prepared to make some jumps, as some of the best loot is located in hard-to-reach places.
• Don’t be afraid to give up on a loot crate if it’s too difficult to get to. There are plenty of other loot crates in the area.

With a little planning and effort, you can loot the Rust Dome and come away with some great loot. Just be sure to be careful and stay safe!
