Xbox Game Pass October 2026

October is shaping up to be another busy month for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, with a number of new games confirmed to join the service throughout the month.

The biggest arrival is undoubtedly Gears of War: E-Day, which launches day one on Xbox Game Pass on October 6. However, it isn’t the only new game heading to the service, with several smaller day-one releases also scheduled throughout October.

Microsoft has currently confirmed 10 games for Xbox Game Pass in October 2026, although more additions could still be announced.

Here’s the complete list of everything confirmed so far.

Xbox Game Pass October 2026 Games

The October lineup has been reported with these dates and platforms, with Microsoft expected to announce additional games in further waves if there are more additions planned.

Keeper – October 2

October gets underway with Keeper, a mysterious adventure game arriving on October 2.

The game combines exploration and puzzle-solving with a surreal setting, putting players in an unusual world where discovery is a major part of the experience.

Keeper is coming to Xbox Series X|S, PC and Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Unlike most of the month’s day-one releases, Keeper is listed for Game Pass Premium rather than being restricted to Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

Gears of War: E-Day – October 6

The biggest Game Pass release of October is Gears of War: E-Day.

Launching on October 6, E-Day takes players back to the beginning of one of the most important events in the Gears of War universe.

The game is set 14 years before the original Gears of War and follows Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago during Emergence Day.

Rather than continuing the story from the previous games, E-Day explores the origins of the conflict that helped define the Gears universe.

The game launches on Xbox Series X|S, PC and Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Most importantly for Game Pass subscribers, it is available day one with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

This makes October 6 one of the biggest dates of the month for Game Pass.

Echo Weaver – October 8

Echo Weaver arrives on October 8.

The game combines action and roguelike elements, with players repeatedly venturing into a dangerous world and learning from each attempt.

Echo Weaver joins Game Pass on Xbox Series X|S, PC and Cloud.

It is available day one through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

Neon Abyss 2 – October 8

Also arriving on October 8 is Neon Abyss 2.

The sequel expands on the fast-paced roguelike formula of the original, giving players another run-based adventure filled with enemies, weapons and upgrades.

Neon Abyss 2 comes to Xbox Series X|S, PC and Cloud through Game Pass.

It is another day-one release for Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers.

Deep Dish Dungeon – October 13

On October 13, Game Pass subscribers can check out Deep Dish Dungeon.

The game takes a colourful approach to dungeon crawling, combining exploration and combat with a distinctive food-themed setting.

It launches on Xbox Series X|S, PC and Cloud and joins Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on day one.

Valor Mortis – October 13

October 13 also sees the arrival of Valor Mortis.

Developed by One More Level, the studio behind Ghostrunner, Valor Mortis is a first-person action game with Soulslike influences.

The game is set in an alternate version of 19th-century Europe and follows a soldier who has been brought back from the dead.

Players will have to battle through a dangerous world while uncovering what happened to their character.

Valor Mortis arrives on Xbox Series X|S, PC and Cloud through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

Beyond These Stars – October 15

Beyond These Stars arrives on October 15.

Unlike most of the October Game Pass releases, this one is listed as a PC-only Game Pass addition.

The game combines strategy and management elements with a sci-fi setting, putting players in charge of developing a civilisation while travelling through space.

Beyond These Stars is currently listed for Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

Chained Beasts – October 15

Also arriving on October 15 is Chained Beasts.

The game joins the service on Xbox Series X|S, PC and Cloud.

Like the other day-one releases scheduled for October, Chained Beasts will be available through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

The Séance of Blake Manor – October 27

Things take a darker turn later in the month with The Séance of Blake Manor.

The mystery-focused adventure is set around the investigation of a disappearance at Blake Manor.

Players will need to investigate the strange events surrounding the manor while uncovering its secrets.

The game arrives on October 27 for Xbox Series X|S, PC and Cloud through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

Terrible Lizards – October 29

The final currently confirmed October Game Pass addition is Terrible Lizards, arriving on October 29.

The game comes to Xbox Series X|S, PC and Cloud and is currently listed as a day-one Game Pass release for Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

It rounds out what is currently a 10-game October lineup.

What Are the Biggest October Game Pass Releases?

The obvious headliner is Gears of War: E-Day.

As a major first-party Xbox release and a new entry in one of Microsoft’s most recognisable franchises, E-Day is likely to attract plenty of attention when it arrives on October 6.

However, October also has several day-one releases that could be worth keeping an eye on.

Neon Abyss 2 should appeal to players who enjoy roguelikes, while Valor Mortis could be interesting for anyone looking for a Soulslike-inspired action game.

Echo Weaver provides another option for players who enjoy challenging run-based games.

Which Game Pass Tier Do You Need?

The October lineup is spread across different Game Pass tiers.

Game Pass Premium includes Keeper.

Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass include the majority of the month’s new releases.

The current October lineup is:

• Keeper — Premium
• Gears of War: E-Day — Ultimate and PC
• Echo Weaver — Ultimate and PC
• Neon Abyss 2 — Ultimate and PC
• Deep Dish Dungeon — Ultimate and PC
• Valor Mortis — Ultimate and PC
• Beyond These Stars — Ultimate and PC
• Chained Beasts — Ultimate and PC
• The Séance of Blake Manor — Ultimate and PC
• Terrible Lizards — Ultimate and PC

Microsoft may announce further additions or changes, so subscribers should keep an eye on the official Game Pass announcements throughout the month.

Are More Xbox Game Pass Games Coming in October?

Quite possibly.

The October lineup is still being presented as the games confirmed so far, rather than a guaranteed final list.

Microsoft regularly announces Game Pass additions in waves, meaning additional games can be revealed throughout the month.

The list above should therefore be treated as a living list rather than the definitive final October lineup.

We’ll update this article if Microsoft announces more October 2026 additions.

Final Thoughts

October 2026 is shaping up to be another busy month for Xbox Game Pass.

The arrival of Gears of War: E-Day is easily the biggest confirmed release, but subscribers also have a number of smaller day-one games to explore throughout the month.

With 10 games currently confirmed, there’s already plenty to look forward to — and Microsoft could still have more announcements waiting.

We’ll keep this article updated as additional October Game Pass games are confirmed.

For now, make sure October 6 is marked on your calendar if you’re planning to jump into Gears of War: E-Day.
