Minecraft PE: How to Farm Sheep
Farming sheep in Minecraft PE is an effective way to gather wool for making beds, banners, and carpets. It also provides a steady source of mutton for food. This guide will walk you through the steps to set up your sheep farm and ensure its sustainability.
The first step in setting up your sheep farm is building a fenced area for the sheep. Wooden fences and fence gates can be crafted using planks and sticks at a crafting table. Once you’ve built your enclosure, you’ll need to find sheep to bring into it. Sheep are attracted to wheat, which you can obtain by farming wheat crops. Hold the wheat in your hand and the sheep will follow you. Lead them into the enclosure and close the gate behind them.
Once you have at least two sheep in your enclosure, you can begin to breed them. Feed wheat to two sheep standing close to each other by tapping the ‘Feed’ button. Hearts will appear over their heads and they will pair off to produce a lamb. The lamb can be fed wheat to accelerate its growth into a full-sized sheep.
Now you have a functioning sheep farm in Minecraft PE! Remember to regularly shear your sheep for wool using shears, and to breed your sheep to increase your flock. With a sustainable sheep farm, you’ll never be short of wool or mutton again. Happy farming!
