The anticipated first-person shooter game, XDefiant from Ubisoft, is all set for its second beta round this week. However, only those who took part in the earlier closed beta will be allowed to preload and play ahead of the official XDefiant launch time in the UK, set for tomorrow.
XDefiant Closed Beta
The inaugural XDefiant beta, which was closed, ran from the 13th to 24th of April. It was exceedingly successful, pulling in a striking one million players in its first week alone. But success brought its own challenges, primarily server stability issues. This led to calls by the game’s Executive Producer, Mark Rubin, to potentially extend the beta to compensate for the troubled XDefiant servers.
Consequently, a few additional days were granted for gameplay, providing Mirror Gaming editor and avid Warzone player, Nathan Bliss, an opportunity to provide his impressions on the XDefiant closed beta. This also allowed him to assess whether Ubisoft’s shooter has what it takes to dethrone Call of Duty. But not everyone had the chance to try the game out; luckily, the upcoming XDefiant open beta provides this opportunity. Regrettably, like the previous beta, it’s only available to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X users, leaving PS4 and Xbox One users out.
Preloading The XDefiant Open Beta
Your approach to preloading the game will vary based on whether you’ve participated in an XDefiant beta before and the platform you’re using. Preloading The XDefiant Open Beta on PS5

Preloading The XDefiant Open Beta on XBOX Series X|S
