Blackcell provides instant unlocks including a new Operator skin, pro-tuned weapon blueprint, finishing move, 1100 COD Points, 20 Battle Pass tier skips and more.
Sector Structure
The system is structured into “sectors” that offer a quicker path to top-tier content compared to the standard 100 tier Battle Pass. Players can upgrade their pass to skip ahead.
Additional Perks
Additional Blackcell perks include bonus skin alternatives for operators and vehicles, as well as blueprints with tracers. There are over 7000 COD Points worth of items.
Battle Pass Integration
The Blackcell pass also allows earning COD Points back through completion like the standard Battle Pass. Players can earn up to 1400 COD Points to recoup some of the upfront cost.
Catering to Different Players
This new monetisation approach caters to players who want instant access to high-rarity loot compared to the standard incremental Battle Pass unlock structure.
However, the standard free Battle Pass path still exists as well for those who prefer grinding through all 100 tiers. The Blackcell and standard pass progress in parallel.
