How to Defeat all Operation Nightmare Bosses in Warzone and DMZ

The chilling winds of October have brought with them The Haunting event, transforming Warzone’s Al Mazrah into a nightmarish realm teeming with demons and formidable bosses. As part of the Operation Nightmare event, players are challenged to confront and conquer these bosses to claim exclusive rewards. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to defeat each adversary and reap the spoils.

The Haunting of Al Mazrah

The nocturnal version of Warzone’s Al Mazrah map is swarming with demons and eerie bosses. In this special Halloween event, your objective is to track down these bosses, defeat them, and unlock distinctive rewards. Triumphing over each boss fight presents its own unique calling card reward. But, if you can defeat all the bosses, you’ll be rewarded with the coveted Bloody Mess weapon blueprint for the BAS-P submachine gun.

The Butcher’s Reign

Operation Nightmare introduces the sinister Butcher from Diablo IV to Al Mazrah. The boss can emerge at different locations, but the start of your match will indicate his whereabouts on your tac-map. Activate pillars surrounding a ritual site while fending off attacking zombies. Once the ritual concludes, a portal appears, leading you to the Butcher. Surrounded by hordes of zombies, the Butcher is a tough opponent, demanding a well-stocked inventory of munition boxes, armour plates, and self-revives.

Defeat the Butcher, and you’ll be handsomely rewarded with gear drops and the MW2 calling card. Additionally, you’ll unlock the Butcher’s meat hook for use in Diablo IV.

Swamp Creature’s Lair

Hidden within Al Mazrah’s Mawizeh Marshlands, the Swamp Creature awaits. To summon this beast, locate three egg pods in the swamp. However, simply opening these glowing yellow and green pods should suffice to trigger its appearance. Defeat the creature to obtain the Swamp Creature calling card and the valuable Tiara item.

The Pharaoh’s Curse

The Oasis point of interest in Al Mazrah is the dwelling of the Pharaoh. Gather skulls by eliminating possessed foes in the desert ruins and place them in a sarcophagus to challenge the Pharaoh. This swift and powerful adversary will relentlessly chase you, making it crucial to remain vigilant and mobile. Conquer him to acquire The Pharaoh calling card.

UFO Invasion

The Sawah Village of Al Mazrah is under siege by a UFO. Destroy the blue glowing orbs, known as anomalies, to summon the UFO. Once defeated, the UFO drops valuable loot and an artefact to be delivered to a portal.

Ghost Train’s Haunting Journey

The Ghost Train roams the tracks of Al Mazrah. Board it and navigate through train cars laden with explosives to retrieve a heart item. Successfully completing this perilous task rewards you with the Ghost Train calling card.

Evil Spirits Challenge

Seek out eerie encounters by looting containers in various locations across the map. Completing these challenges will reward you with the Evil Spirits calling card.

Tips and Tricks

Whether you’re playing in battle royale or DMZ mode, tackling these bosses is a daunting task. However, the latter offers a less frenzied environment, making it easier to engage with the bosses. Equip night vision goggles or utilise thermal scopes to spot enemies lurking in DMZ’s shadows. Furthermore, don’t forget to explore additional rewards offered by The Haunting’s Soul Capture event.
