Vondel Gulag Is Coming

What’s new in Warzone 2 At present, the Vondel map in Season 4 is accessible only via Resurgence mode, but the mid-season update will enhance the traditional battle royale experience with a brand-new gulag.

The Occupation Scan Is Back

Season 4 Reloaded is set to resurrect Warzone 1’s Occupation Scan public event, obligating players to drop prone during a brief scan to evade location exposure. Activision has also hinted at a new “redacted quest”, though specifics about the quest remain elusive.

The current season brought significant changes to Warzone’s DMZ mode, like a new map and a revamp of the menus and unlocking system. The mid-season update, however, may deliver even more changes.

A fresh multiplayer map, Vondel Waterfront, will be featured in the mid-season update. Resembling the waterfront location on the Warzone 2 Vondel map, it showcases floating houses in a waterfront setting.

Concluding the ongoing post-launch narrative of Modern Warfare 2, the final Raid episode will be incorporated in Season 4. Completion of the finale unlocks a Farah operator skin. An official announcement from Activision suggests players should ready themselves for the thrilling finale of the Raid series, hinting at a special event or Raid-style episode in the forthcoming fifth and final season to reveal details about the new 2023 Call of Duty release.
